man, that hardly strictly bluegrass festival is a good thing. only in san francisco would you find two days of unbelievable music (steve earle, gillian welch, the knitters, los super seven, doc watson, and on and on) in one of the most unbelievably beautiful settings—speedway meadow in golden gate park—for free. i was there for a little while on saturday with my son, max, and it was a little slice of heaven. can’t wait until next year.
